A Treasured State

Acton Siebel’s story is of a normal guy who came home to Missoula, Montana to transition. It’s a regular story of a man searching for light in a time of darkness and finding opportunities to express himself in ways he could never imagine, made possible by the loving support of those around him, his chosen family. As a transgender person of color working in a traditionally masculine industry as a mechanic, Acton challenges all of us to see beyond politics and see the value he can add to his community within and beyond Montana’s borders.
